IrFM SIG: Infrared Financial
Messaging Special Interest Group
IrFM SIG is
affiliated with the IrDA and is a committee
organized to establish a standard for financial
transactions using infrared technology. The
committee is composed of member companies
of IrDA. (http://www.irda.org)
Harex Infotech is a board member of IrDA and
is currently an active contributor in the
IrFM SIG. Using its know-how from commercialization,
Harex is one of the most active promoter of
IrFM as an international standard.
Most recently, IrFM version 0.91 was announced
in January 2002 in Las Vergas.
